Lonny Magazine

I guess my mind is all a-buzz after reading about Gourmet, another long-loved Condé Nast magazine, is closing their doors in November.

Lonny Magazine has been all over the blog-o-sphere (I knew I’d use that word on here at some point) the past few days, but just in case you missed it, check it out here. Currently it’s in a online-only format, which I love. Is this possibly what we shelter magazine lovers have to look forward to in the publishing future?

Lonny-1

So here’s to you, Deborah Needleman, former editor of Domino, another Condé Nast to get the pink slip. We heart you in a big way. I mean BIG.

Lonny-2

PS: The duo came up with the name Lonny (you know you were wondering, too) because it’s a cross between the words London and New York. Classy, huh? If you want to read a bit more about the new team, check out this article in WWD.
